Accommodation

There is a variety of accommodation in the area which we hope caters for all requirements. If you have any particular needs, please do not hesitate to contact us and, likewise if you require any help in finding accommodation or making a booking. An excellent French website with information regarding local accommodation is the Tourist Board at Tallard (select herbergment and then locations saisonnières meublés). Tallard - Residenciel

The Residenciel is located fifty yards from our hangar and is very popular with parachutists, microlight and glider pilots. It offers 2 types of self-catering apartments which accommodate 2 to 7 people respectively. All the apartments have a kitchen area which includes a microwave oven, electric hob and fridge. The lounge area has satellite television, internet wifi and leads onto a small private terrace equipped with table and chairs. There is a swimming pool, mountain bike hire, washing machine facilities, bar, barbeque area and pizza oven. Prices range from 285€ to 425€ per week for a 2 person studio and from 610€ to 825€ per week for a 3 to 7 person studio.

Tallard - Studio

Studio, 7 Rue de La Chevalerie, Tallard. A 10 minute walk from the airfield this is a basic studio for 2 people situated in the village. This is ideal for student pilots on a limited budget. The accommodation consists of a small kitchen, bathroom with shower, 1 double bed and a sofa bed. Prices are 18€ for 1 person per night and 25€ for 2 people per night. Chateauvieux

Gite at Chateauvieux (gite number 2810) and www.tourisme-tallard-barci.com This gite, situated 2 miles away, is a beautifully restored barn which has panoramic views over the Ceuze and is ideal for 2 people who seek peace and tranquility. Lettret

Gite at Lettret and www.tourisme-tallard-barci.com Only a mile and a half away, this 2 bed-roomed house (1 double and a bunk bed for 2) comes with it´s own swimming pool. La Saulce

Gite at La Saulce Quaint 2 bedroomed village house set in the village of La Saulce, 2 miles from the airfield. There are 2 double bedrooms and 2 toilets. It has a small garden and a very large sunny terrace. It can be rented during the months of June, July and August. Weekly rates 300€ to 350€. Venterol - Tourniaire

The Tourniaire at Venterol just 4 miles away from the aerodrome provides bed and breakfast and also has a gite which can sleep 6 people comfortably and up to 9 if necessary. Your hosts Florence and Thierry are friendly and Florence is an excellent cook. The B & B rooms are spacious, have en-suite facilities, television and DVD player. A room for 2 is 50€ and the gite is 600€ per week.

Campsites

There are a few campsites not far from the airfield.

Neffes - Camping Les Bonnets

At Neffes only 3 miles away, this campsite is open from Easter to the end of September. It has 120 tent pitches, 15 caravans, 17 mobile homes and 13 chalets. It has excellent facilities for the family which include 2 swimming pools, a sports area, ping-pong, table football area and bowling area. Camping rates start from 4,50€ per day, caravans from 107€ to 305€ per week, mobile homes from 213€ to 490€ per week and chalets from 229€ to 797€ per week.

Tallard - Camping Le Chene

At Tallard there is Camping Le Chene which is a small, quiet camp site with 52 pitches and 4 mobile homes. It is open from 1st June to mid-September and has the local swimming pool and tennis court located next door. Camping prices are 3,30€ per day and a week in the mobile home is 500€

Freissinouse - La Motte Flottante

Camping La Motte Flottante at Freissinouse, 7 miles away, is open from May to September. Situated next to the lake in an unspoilt location it has 33 tent pitches, 12 chalets. The chalets can be rented out all year. Camping prices are 3€ per day and prices for the chalet start from 300€ to 480€ per week.

Tallard - Le Cap

On the aerodrome, is the hotel Le Cap It has 20 rooms which come with air-conditioning, flat screen TV with satellite, en-suite facilities, wifi, private terrace overlooking the mountains and swimming pool The hotel has excellent facilities; pool, bar, BBQ area and all within walking distance of the hangar. Prices start from 68€ per night.

Gap - Hotel Fons Regina

The Hotel Fons Regina is situated 10 minutes away in the town of Gap, in beautiful wooded grounds. It has 18 rooms which are very comfortable and come equipped with television, wifi connection and ensuite facilities. The hotel has its own private pool and bowling area. Prices for a double room start from 45€ to 64€ per night.
