Eating Out
France is renowned for its gastronomy and there are plenty of good restaurants in the area offering excellent food. At lunchtimes, even small local bars offer the “Plat du Jour” (Today´s Special) which is freshly cooked and always popular with the locals. Do remember that unlike the UK, restaurants are not open all day and opening times are around 11.30hrs to 13.30hrs and 19.00hrs to about 22.00hrs.
