Mountain flying at its best in France.

 Enjoy the magnificent nature!

We have no controlled airspace in our immediate vicinity allowing the spirit of adventure to come to the forefront. The Hautes Alpes can be explored by microlight with very little impediment and the scenery is simply sublime. Withing one hour of flying you can see all of the high mountain passes, the Devoluoy, the Champsaur, the famous lac de Serre Poncon, the valley d'Ubaye, the lavender fields of Haute Provence and so much more.

For the free spirited, not just airfields but strips in the middle of nowhere!

Hone your skill set to a high level.

You never know when you might have to conduct a pre-cautionary landing and its a major safety requirement to have if your planning on expanding your touring horizons. We can show you how and the things that you will need to consider.

Todays microlight fleet offer the possibility to do incredible distances in just one day. Some years ago we managed to fly from Perth in Scotland to Gap Tallard in just one day in Pegasus Quiks.....a distance of over 1000 miles . Many new pilots feel a certain level of discomfort when their usual flying radius extends beyond a certain distance. The ethos of Pegasus France is to help pilots expand their horizons and to enable adventure flying to become more attainable and less intimidating. This might include crossing an international flight boundary or simply getting to the point where they can fly comfortably on their own.

Our flying environment allows progression for any pilot at any level of competence. Whether its mastering the landing right through to navigating in the mountains and landing at the AFPM (Association de pilotes de montagne) mountain strips. We aim to grow your confidence and to take you outside your comfort zone at times to present new skill sets to learn in a fun environment.
