Gap is situated in the south of France, 79 miles south of Grenoble and 100 miles north of Marseille. (location Map of Gap-Tallard)

Travel to Gap-Tallard Aerodrome is cheap and easy with several budget airlines taking you to the airports of Marseille, Grenoble, Paris and Nice. Budget airlines serving these routes include Ryanair and Easyjet.

The easiest airport to fly to is Marseille. From Marseille you can either hire a car, travel by coach or request to be collected.

By car:

The journey takes about an hour and a half and is a simple drive up the motorway. If travelling from the airport head onto the N113 direction Aix-en-Provence. From the N113, head towards the A7 direction Aix-en-Provence. From the A7 take the N296 direction Sisteron. Head toward Gap A51 and you will stay on this road for the remainder of the journey. At the end of the A51 you will take the exit marked Gap and 2 miles on the right, you will find the aerodrome of Gap Tallard.

By coach:

The Number 40 “Navette” leaves Marseille airport to Aix-en-Provence twice an hour and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. From Aix-en-Provence, you take the number FH29 bus (Marseille-Gap-Briançon) which departs 3 times a day. Please check with us to confirm current bus times.

Collection:

We do offer collection and this costs £50. Please check with the office to discuss availability.

From Grenoble there is a 90 minute train hop to Gap and from Nice you can either take the train to Gap or drive the spectacular “Napoleon Route” from Nice to Gap in a hire car.
