Our courses run all year and we try and fit in around your availability. To get to us you are best to fly into Marseille airport and take the direct bus from the airport that will bring you to Tallard where we can meet you and take you to your accommodation. Otherwise feel free to fly down yourself or bring your camping car or motorcycle.....we will look after you. If you would like to come down in a group of aircraft and to be trained and guided than we can do this also.....either based at Tallard or on adventure training we can provide you with something very special.
You can expect to do a minimum of ten hours per week at Tallard which is difficult to match elsewhere. Our landing agreement allows us to have unlimited use of three different airfields so you will get plenty of experience. We offer the UK NPPL or the French brevet ULM. You may wish to brush up on your skills or do some serious adventure flying to explore the wonders of the Alpes. We have 300 days of sunshine per year and 330 days of flying weather at Gap Tallard.
We are able to offer the BMAA wings scheme for high terrain flying together with offering the french Label Montagne cursus. If you want to get the creditation then we will blend a mix of theory and practical training to help you toward your certification. Marcus has over 30 years of mountain flying experience so you will be in safe hands. He is a PNVM mountain pilot instructor , a BMAA instructor and a member of the AFPM. We have many mountain strips around Tallard and all of the alti ports are within the range of the Nynja including Courchevel, Meribel, Megeve and Alpe de Huez.
Our school is CAA approved and audited to offer instructor training toward the FI(R) rating. The course generally take three weeks but can be split into two sessions if time is not on your side. We will also run a course in your aircraft whether it be fixed wing or flexwing. Pegasus france is the only CAA approved school abroad and with great weather you are sure to get your hours in. You require a minimum of 15 hours flight time and 40 hours of ground school during the course. Prior to entry you will require 100 hours of P1 experience . There is a pre entry flight test and theory exam prior to getting going on the course. We have been training instructors for well over twenty years .
